1884 Wmk Crowns £1 brown-lilac mint nh top marginal with “CANCELLED” type 14 overprint from the Inland Revenue colour standard sheet, very fine and extremely rare with only 5 or 6 examples known (SG £9’500) 1884 £1 Brown-lilac (Wmk. Three Crowns). Pristine unmounted o.g. top marginal example lettered AC, oveprinted “CANCELLED” type 14 from the Inland Revenue colour standard sheet. Extremely rare, this being probably the finest of the 5 or 6 known examples. Spec. K14u.
