1884 Wmk Crowns £1 brown-lilac mint nh top marginal with « CANCELLED » type 14 overprint from the Inland Revenue colour standard sheet, very fine and extremely rare with only 5 or 6 examples known (SG £9’500) 1884 £1 Brown-lilac (Wmk. Three Crowns). Pristine unmounted o.g. top marginal example lettered AC, oveprinted « CANCELLED » type 14 from the Inland Revenue colour standard sheet. Extremely rare, this being probably the finest of the 5 or 6 known examples. Spec. K14u.
