1840 (May 7) Lettersheet from Witham (Essex) to Halesworth with 1840 1d black pl.1a JH (worn plate), good even margins, cancelled by neat red MC, reverse with Witham UDC but datelined inside and by the receiver on May 7th, very fine and rare second day usage, cert. RPS (2011) which erroneously describes it as a part lettersheet
