1889 Envelope endorsed “HMS Griffon, Pemba” whilst on anti-slave patrol, sent to England with 1887 2d Jubilee tied by barred oval on arrival, paying the sailor’s concessionary rate, countersigned by the commanding officer, fine and very rare, the only known cover from Pemba on slave patrol
