1879 Envelope sent from Capt Cox to Ireland via Natal & Utrecht bearing six Natal 1877-79 1d on 6d rose, not cancelled on entry to postal system at Utrecht, very rare, ex Harry Birkhead
Note: After the successful Zulu attack on a supply convoy at Ntombe River on 12 March 1879, British Troops preferred their mail to travel on the Natal route
