Lot 20848 – 1859 Sherwin 1911 reprints of the 1d and 2d

1859 Sherwin 1911 reprints made after the plates were presented to the Royal Philatelic Society London and defaced, with the 1d in black mounted on sunken card, 2d in black mounted on sunken card and the 2d in black not mounted, plus the reprints of the back of the plates which show an advert for the Grand Hotel D’Europe, one in English and one in French, fine and very rare, ex Kanai (still mounted on his pages) and “Saint Louis”
