1848-59 1d Orange-Vermilion early impression, pos.3, very good to large margins, target cancel, colour a little oxidised in places, affixed at a later date to a wrapper (faulty) with a very rare “PENNY POST” type II hs, illustrated in Ibbotson’s supplement and recorded as the earliest know usage of this hs, cert. Brandon (1994) and Bühler (1984)
