I finished second to Villie Ritola. Two days later, in the final, I finished fourth in the steeplechase”, and continues with his trip around Europe. Scrapbook (no cover), 38pp, incl. German menu signed by athletes incl. CARL DIEM (1936 Sec. Gen. of Berlin OC), with newspaper clippings from the Olympics and other athletics events he participated incl. pictures of him, Telegram from the US President sent the US Olympic athletes, reception invitation card from the French President for Olympians, etc., a fascinating lot
