1913 3k Romanov postal stationery card, datelined “D/S Trifon”, sent to Norway and uprated with 1k arms tied by “3rd MURMAN STEAMSHIP “a” 18 7 13″ oval ds, very fine This card establishes use of 3rd Murmansk Steamship canceller on “Prepodobnyi (Saint) Trifon”, a ship of 230 tons built in 1896 by Dobson & Co. at Newcastle, England, and belonging to the Archangel-Murman Steam Navigation Co.
