1912 Russia 20pa stationery card with Athens roller cancel, addressed to Odessa from a Russian volunteer in the 1st Balkan War, message reading ‘I have arrived in Athens, enrolled as a volunteer in the army…I am writing by card as here in the barracks, they sell only postcards with Russian stamp dies, but surcharged 20 para, fine and unusual, ex Dr Casey Auction
