Russian stamp tied by very rare Cyrillic Russian/Bulgarian ‘TYRNOVSKAYA P.K. at top and TYRNOVSKA POSHTENSKA KONT, in Bulgarian at bottom 2 APR. 1878’ handstamp (Tchilinghirian fig.65) in black alongside arrival blue handstamp ‘SOFIA/SREDYETS 3 IV 79’ and extremely rare negative ‘SOFIA/SREDYETS’ special type seal unrecorded by any catalogue, small sections of the newspaper missing across horizontal fold, a key exhibition item of Russian and Bulgarian Postal History, signed Nakri.
