Description
1843 Bulls Eyes 30 reis black on greyish, used in combination with second issue (“Inclinados”) 60 reis black type 2 on cover (undated inside) to Parahybuna, tied by pre-stamp unframed MARIANNA in black, the ink of which has caused two areas of corrosion (one at right of 60r), seal removed from flap. An extremely rare mixed use of first and second issues on the same cover. With P. Meyer certificate 2013, discussed at pp 308-09 of Jucherts book, where the question of dating is mentioned, along with the typical ink corrosion associated with the Marianna postmark.
