1872-1956, Collection of well over 1000 predominantly mint stamps housed on specialised album pages and in a stockbook, concentrating particularly on the challenging WWI occupations with the vast majority of the better items signed. Highlights in the French Occupations include, mint unless otherwise stated, Arad o/ps complete first series all signed inc. 2 shades each on the key 35f and 10k values, plus the inverted o/ps on Koztarsasag 2f and 6f. Then Debrecen o/ps on harvesters/parliament issues to 5k, on King Charles with virtually all permutations inc. black o/p on 15f violet used, on Koztarsasag to 3k with red, blue and black o/ps all signed, 15f King Charles red o/p, later harvester/parliament types inc. 40f, 95f, 1.20k and 1.40k as well as postage dues with the good 1f, 10f and 12f all signed. The collection continues with Second Debrecen issues and Temesvar virtually complete, Transylvania issues with few empty spaces, again with the better items signed, especially the First Transylvania postage dues complete all signed, leading on to Baranya inc. unlisted types, Banat/Bacska with the best items signed, Szeged complete with signatures on the 5k parliament and both Koztarsasag 20f brown types, etc. Also lots of Western Hungary overprints, extensive unlisted ‘P’, ‘Porto’ and ‘T’ handstamps, telegraphs and other revenues, etc, etc. A wonderful collector’s collection with many difficult and scarce stamps expertised, a most enjoyable viewing.
