Description
1899 La Bourdonnais paste-up essay for 18c value with head superimposed on frame with value repeated thrice, this design later modified for the final issue, dated March 28th 99, also Printers’ sample of the issued design as a Die Proof on thin wove with engraved SPECIMEN in reverse above.
