1886 (Jul 23) Envelope to England with black “PAID / AT / MONTSERRAT” crown circle (type P2, enhanced with pencil), despatch cds adjacent, reverse arrival cds, portion of backflap missing, a rare handstamp with only 15 recorded by Britnor in total and only 4 recorded used provisionally in the 1880s, this being the only known example in black on cover, album page incl. small piece with crisp strike of the same in black
