Description
Stara Zagora – Zagra-i Atik: 1853 Entire from Stara Zagora to Constantinople struck on arrival with all Arabic negative “An Canib Posta-i Deraliyye 268” blue handstamp (Coles & Walker fig. 8), with Arabic manuscript “Zagra” at top left and weight 3 Dirhem / postal charge 1 piastre 30 paras in manuscript.
Note: The Ottoman Post in Stara Zagora had a Postal Relay station at this date and mail was cancelled at the arrival office Auction
