Description
1907 (Feb 15) envelope (complete with contents) from Yeji to England showing a superb strike of the “SALVED FROM/SS JEBBA” handstamp (Hoggarth and Gwynn Type 2b) in violet, the cover has arbitrarily had 2 1/2d stamp affixed when the mail was drying out as was often the case, the reverse with Kumasi (22.2) and Great Yarmouth (20.2) cds.
