1922-29 1/2d to 10s set of nineteen in horizontal strips of three, each overprinted or handstamped (5s) “SPECIMEN” and affixed to two pieces (one bearing just the 1/2d and 1d) cancelled with several strikes of the “SPECIMEN / COLLECTION/ MAURITANIE” handstamp in magenta, scuffs on 1s6d values, a unique and colourful set from this French African Colony archive Catalogue
