1873 February 6 envelope from Minie to Cairo with 1pi horizontal strip of 3, ‘V.R. POSTE EGIZIANE MINIE’ cancellations repeated above and double-framed ‘PER CONSEGNA’, Cairo arrival date stamp of 7 February on the reverse and five intact wax seals; roughly opened at the top which affects the framed marking. A VERY ATTRACTIVE USE OF THIS RARE MARKING.
