1854 Wrapper from Hobart to England with 1853 4d Bright Red-Orange pl.2 earliest impression in two strips of three, pos.13-15 & 19-21, touched in places, each tied by “64” numerals with despatch cds below (date unclear) and arrival bs, stamps paying 6-times rate, vertical crease affecting pos.15, cover has been cleaned and repaired and seemingly part of the address removed, wax seal removed
A very rare and attractive franking. The second largest known franking of the 4d
