1850-51 12 cents black on blue, Townsend Type A, thick frame, without initials, exceptionally rare unused example, deep colour, cut round.
One of only two unused recorded of the entire “Cotton Reel” issue (the other 12 cents was sold in the Harmer Rooke sale with the 1856 1 cent in 1935)
