1889 (Feb 12) Envelope sent registered six times rate to the German Witu Company at Berlin (received 12 March) via Sea Post Office (22 February) and Aden (24 February) bearing 1882-90 1R & 4a tied by type 6 canceller, “R” in circle registration hand-stamp on obverse, a fine and rare high franking cover, ex Pennycuick and Sturton.
Note: The use of the “R” was used at Zanzibar from January 1888 through June 1904 Auction
