1906 Pictorial military envelope and enclosed letter-sheet with Christmas and New Year motif, produced by special military depot in Vilna, the message written to KALUGA 27 12 06 by soldier awaiting demobilisation and postmarked two days later TOMASHOV (Petrok.). 7k stamp applied as soldier was not on active service.
The writer complains that he has been moved so many times recently that he does no know where he is. Auction
