1905 Card written by a wounded soldier of the 16th RIFLE REGIMENT in hospital at HARBIN sending thanks to the Empress Maria Feodorovna for gifts received from her charity at the Anichkov Palace, St Petersburg. Violet-grey free-frank cachet of HARBIN GENERAL HOSPITAL and datestamp reading: HARBIN HOSPITAL SUBURB ‘b’ 9 10 05. St Petersburg arrival 9 10 05.
Additional viewcard included showing casualty being taken into a Harbin hospital. Auction
