FRENCH CONSULAR POST IN JERUSALEM Cover (Consulat Jaffa imprint) and pc, each franked by 6fr “Marianne” WITHOUT SURCHARGE and tied respectively by 13 Mai and 12 Mai 1948 Jerusalem French Post cds, ONLY 8 SUCH USAGES KNOWN, both of these prepared by Consul René Neuville and sent to his son in Paris; the card pictures the consulate in Jerusalem. Wonderful exhibit material, very fine (not listed thus by Bale or Yvert) Catalogue ref: 128 var.
