Description
1936 Essay for Young King Farouk Definitive Issue – by Enschede (Dutch printer) 20m. hand-painted essay, green and blue, mounted on card 125 mm. x 185 mm. The card incorporates two other stamps, one from Iraq and the other from Iran. The Iran and Iraq stamps are perforated through the carton with the Dutch word “NIETIG” meaning “not valid” or “void”. Also, affixed to the card is a photographic reduction of the essay, unique and very attractive showpiece Catalogue ref: E402
