EGYPT, SUEZ: 1866 (Mar 6) Envelope from Suez to Australia with blue type CC1 “PAID / AT / SUEZ” crown circle hs and blue despatch cds adjacent, with GB 1865-67 1s green hinged to the cover which was originally placed on top of the crowned circle, missing back flap and other small faults, a very rare handstamp on cover with only 7 in blue recorded, ex Fikry (sold for €5040 in 2011), cert. RPS (2001) (SG £6’000), plus piece from 1882 with black “PAID / AT / SUEZ” crowned circle (a very late usage)
