Premier vol Paris – Bordeaux par le pilote Ronin, adressé pour la Martinique puis vers la Guadeloupe, TB, très rare, premier usage du cachet “Par Avion” par la poste française 1913 (15 Oct.) Flight by pilot Ronin from Paris to Bordeaux, 5c Sower tied to aviation ppc by R. de Grenelles cds, Bordeaux octagonal receiver, addressed originally to Martinique so carried by paquebot “Perou,” then forwarded to Guadeloupe, cds of Fort de France and Basse-Terre respectively plus “PAR AVION” cachet and forwarding hs, an important early flight in impeccable condition, very fine (Mü. 11, 25’000pts) Note: this marks the FIRST USE by the French P.O. of the “PAR AVION” cachet
