RARE CUSTOMS CANCELLATION ON COVER 1893 (Nov 14) An opened mixed franking cover from Wuhu to the USA franked with Small Dragon 1c perf. 11 1/2 and 5c cancelled by red “CUSTOMS / WUHU / 14 Nov. 1893” cds, and Japanese Koban 5 sen cancelled by “SHANGHAI / MEIJI / 18 XI 1893” cds, reverse with the same Wuhu Customs cds and “CUSTOMS / SHANGHAI” transit in blue, Yokohama transit and faint USA arrival cds, small tears at right top but harmless to the stamp.
