1897 Three-colour franking cover franked by 1876-92 2s, 3s & 5s Chrysanthemum issues tied by native red cds, Kobe foreign mail cds at bottom left, sent to Ireland and backstamped Waterford. The famous “Emerald” collection of Irish mails to & from abroad had only two Japanese frankings to Ireland, of which this was the earlier Auction
