Earliest to Latest Impressions
An amazing specialised study of sixty-one ONE PENNY values of various shades & impressions, plus forty-four TWO PENCE values of various shades impressions, mostly singles, plus some pairs & one strip of four, all neatly mounted and presented on album pages, showing two reconstructed sheets of each value, with no less than NINE singles from position 7 showing the “PENOE” error with examples from the early impression to the latest impression, the highlights include 1d earliest impression superb used with large even margins, two other earliest impressions present, intermediate impression with vertical pair used with very large to huge margins a superb pair, selection of others including six more pairs & a strip of three, finally an unused worn impression with good even margins, 2d earliest impression, pos. 5, large to huge margins used with black grid cancel, superb, cert.
