2s6d Brown, composite setting vertical block of six from the top left corner of the sheet with full sheet margins, mint nh, overprint varieties showing Broken Final “2” in 1922 on postions (R1/4) & (R2/4), and raised A in Saorstat (R3/4), fresh, very fine & an attractive positional multiple (Note: Regarding (R3/4) & (R4/4) of the sheet, this is the only constant variety on the composite printing. Dr. Cyril Dulin states “Evidently one of the clichés sent by Dublin Castle (to London) was from R1/2 of the Thom December overprint issue, where the identical variety occurs”
