2s6d Brown, composite setting vertical block of six from the top left corner of the sheet with full sheet margins, mint nh, overprint varieties showing Broken Final « 2 » in 1922 on postions (R1/4) & (R2/4), and raised A in Saorstat (R3/4), fresh, very fine & an attractive positional multiple
(Note: Regarding (R3/4) & (R4/4) of the sheet, this is the only constant variety on the composite printing. Dr. Cyril Dulin states « Evidently one of the clichés sent by Dublin Castle (to London) was from R1/2 of the Thom December overprint issue, where the identical variety occurs » Catalogue ref: T69
