1849-72, GERMAN STATES: The Nils Strandell reference collection, many 100s of items on pages, strong in both Official and Unofficial reprints (plus forgeries or forged cancels), quite comprehensive with occasional “gem” such as Bavaria “square” stamps from wrappers of packages of sheets, Hannover essay, etc. with much listed by Michel, all states represented incl. Alsace-Lorraine reprints in blocks, also some Colonies (forged small “Yachts” in profusion), etc. with the whole being a fantastic adjunct to a specialised collection, examine (Est. € 2’000/3’000)
