Clare: 1813-1968 Attractive mixed accumulation of mostly semi-modern to modern covers and postcards, all to and from County Clare, showing a fine array of registered mail, some from smaller villages and towns, some better early items included are 1840 1d Mulready addressed to Doon near Broadford, Co. Clare and 1813 entire from Ennis to London, redirected to Paris and shows an unframed serif T.OFF in red, also 1838 entire from Dublin to Ennistymon redirected to Ennis with boxed red PUT IN AFTER SIX O’CLOCK hs, plus some other covers included FDC etc., mixed to fine, a wonderful assembly for the Clare postal historian (170+)
