Animals – Dogs: 1883 (Jan 29) “Eckman’s Patent Folder” printed folding envelope with 1881-82 1c Franklin tied by Mazo Maine cds and cork cancel, with printed image of a boy looking at a dog appearing over the fence when the envelope is closed using the flap with “Beware of the dog” below, with printed message inside from the J. W. Butler Paper Co., minor soiling and some reinforcements to a fold and the flap, a very rare and most unusual cover.
