Austrian Lloyd Offices in the Dobrudja 1867: Levant 5 s. red and 15 s. brown used on 1871 entire letter written from Ismail to Messina, Italy, cancelled in transit by “TULTSCHA” circular datestamp (June 23) in black (Tchilinghirian fig. 837). Reverse with Constantinople Lloyd Agency cds (June 26), thence via Austrian P.O. via Venice to Messina (July 5). A rare and most attractive entire. Provenance: DF, Zurich, 1 Dec 1982, lot 20647.
