1854 10c velvet-black, Liez printing, inverted watermark horizontal strip of four with good to large margins all around, light nine bar cancels. In Goebel a premium of 2,500 Euro for a single, in Moniteur shown as ‘Piece du Mois” (c’est une grande rareté, probablement une pièce unique). ex Dupont (splendide bande de quatre), signed FSPL.
