1861 Woodblock 1d carmine with 3 clear margins unused without gum, fresh colour, attractive and extremely scarce in unused condition; cert. B.P.A (1978). The certificate states “creased” of which we can see no evidence and “small surface marks” which are barely noticeable and are (in our opinion) tiny natural paper flaws (S.G. £30,000 as mint).
