1889 (Nov-Dec 6) piece from the De La Rue Day book, bearing 8 stamp size duty die proofs in black on glazed card for the 1890-92 set to 96c. arranged in “blocks” of four, each block with a red manuscript endorsement indicating the invoice date, a unique and important archival record for the first issue.
