1913-22 range of values comprising 5c., (3), 25c (3) and 10r. (3), each overprinted SPECIMEN and affixed to Madagascar UPU receiving authority ledger page piece and hand stamped “POSTES ET TELEGRAPHES/COLLECTION/DE BERNE/MADAGASCAR” with m/s heading at top indicating that these stamps were received 26 Feb 1912 (one year before they were actually issued in Mauritius) further enhanced by one of each value showing the constant variety “broken M” of which only seven existed, a unique group, these three values being the first stamps of the entire British Empire to be printed in the new Keyplate design. Rare.
