1890s-1980s Revenues Exhibit collection showing the stamps and their usage on documents, Proofs, errors and Varieties starting with Federated Malay States 1901 Indenture franked 50c Tiger postage stamp, 1897 agreement franked Elephants $1 (3) and $2 postage stamps with Stamp Office Taiping datestamps, stamps with fiscal cancels with Postage & Revenues $1, $2, $5 and faded $25 Elephants used, Revenue and Revenue $100 and $250 (small fault at base, 1921 promissory note franking including pair Postage & Revenue $25 (2), Japanese Occupations including Kedah small format $25, 1942 Power of attorney franked Dai Nippon 2602 overprinted $1 (3) plus unoverprinted $3 (damaged), Perak Flag and Map issue with colourless roulette in complete sheet of 25 and both types on document, BMA with 14 documents with values to $2, plus two in combination with Indian stamps or revenue paper, Malayan Federation 1963 ordinary paper set used and $25 imperf corner proof block of 8 mint n.h., 1969 glazed paper set of three used ($250 a pair), 1973 $25 and $100 mint n.h. and $250 used, $100 inter-panneau block of eight with full Thomas De La Rue & Co. Ltd. printed at base of top strip, colour controls at right folded over to back, similar $250 block without the horizontal fold, 1975 set of three used and 1982 set of five to $1000 used, 1982 $500 and $1000 Harrison and sons imperf proofs on card plus mint n.h. examples, 1985 $25 corner dated block of four mint n.h., corner dated $100 and $250 mint n.h. and $1000 in dated corner block of four mint n.h., the set of four in imperf proof corner blocks of six and 1990 10c., 50c., $1 and $5 corner marginal blocks of four mint. n.h., 1991 re-issues in smaller size including documents, $1 sheet of 100, the lower four rows with less to no black, $2 block of 50 with missing green partly or largely missing on rows 8 and 9, 1990 set of four, redrawn $10 and $100 block of six with major perforation shift and 2008 values; an extensive collection, mostly good to fine.
