Lot 50934 – Ionian Islands 1825 Corfu to Santa Maura outer letter sheet

1825-32 pair of covers with different types of Corfu Coat-of-Arms cachets, incl. 1825 outer letter sheet to Santa Maura bearing a very fine larger oval royal handstamp on front, black scroll date stamp on reverse of 7 July, front also showing a double black circle Santa Maura arrival mark not shown in Zaphiriou, and 1832 internal Corfu entire bearing a fine strike of the small royal seal with red manuscript “6” presumably for double rate inter island mail, black scroll dated backstamp, a scarce internal item.
