1819-46, group of five covers from UK incl. 1819 entire to Corfu bearing unframed Liverpool 206 despatch date stamp, with annotation bottom left “Via Malta/ double only”, red manuscript “3/3” at triple rate, somewhat unclear arrival with manuscript “18” t centre for local charge, some slight faults from horizontal crease, 1840 entire from London to Corfu endorsed “Par Trieste”, travelling through France, 1845 and 1846 covers from Worcester to Corfu the first endorsed “not paid” and the latter with red PAID and 1846 Tunbridge Wells to Corfu mourning envelope endorsed “Mediterranean Steamer” and “Via Southampton”, good to fine group, plus a cover from UK to USA with contents regarding the crops on the Ionian islands.
