1914-41 Sacred Cows group of four covers (plus two forgeries) incl. 1/2a black, two singles, on medium wove paper, rouletted in colour, types H, and 2a bright apple-green, type I, all tied on reverse of native registered cover by black negative seal; 1/2a black, two pairs, on medium wove paper, rouletted in colour, type H, and 2a bright apple-green, type I, all tied on front and reverse of native registered cover by cds, dated 1941; 1/2a black, on medium wove paper, rouletted in colour, types H, and 4a olive-yellow (defective), type B, both tied on reverse of native registered cover (Benns survey did not record a used example of SG 74); and 1/2a black, on medium wove paper, perforated 11, types I, tied on the reverse of Imperial India 1a brown stationery envelope, dated 18 May 1941, with Bundi horseshoe postage due two annas on address side, envelope reduced at top cutting into embossed impression.
