1899 (29 May) Mahé de la Bourdonnais (15c.) die proof in black on surfaced wove paper (49x54mm) with complete die sinking, a progressive proof with blank value tablet and shading incomplete, dated in blue “29 MAY 99”, superb and most probably unique in this form; ex Kanai and “Port Louis”.
