1860-63 4d. rose and 6d. green vertical pair, on 1863 (6 June) double rate entire to Bordeaux, marked “p Nepaul via Suez and Marseille”, both tied by “B53” obliterator and red Suez transit c.d.s., showing unframed “p.d.” alongside with, on reverse, despatch and arrival datestamps; the entire with the odd minor tone spot and with some small faults on reverse; an attractive and rare franking.
