2d. dark blue on bluish paper, early impression, large to huge margins all round, showing intense colour and impression, neatly cancelled by a central strike of the “14” double-circle cancel (“Riviere du Rempart”), faint corner crease entirely in the top right margin, otherwise extremely fine, an outstanding used example (S.G.36, £4’500)
