1810 (Dec 7) wrapper from Constantinople to London with fine strike of the “Ship Lre / (crown) / SHEERNESS” in red, rated “2/8” and endorsed per “Sligo”, reverse with arrival bs, portion of top backflap missing and strengthened tear, a fine and scarce example, incl. coloured engraving of Sheerness pier.
