1810 (Sep 29) entire from Coruña, Spain, to London, with a very good strike of the rare “SHIP-LETTER / (crown) / GUERNSEY” hs in red (Robertson S1), with “1/4” rate paying 4d ship letter charge, 3d Guernsey to Weymouth and 9d Weymouth to London, a superb cover with an unusual routing during the Napoleonic Wars; ex Barrie Jay.
